Dr. Theresa Rohr-Kirchgraber has demonstrated excellence in medicine and is truly committed to improving the health of women across the lifespan.

She was born and raised in Southern California, completed her education at California State University Long Beach and attended Cornell University College of Medicine. Her residency in Internal Medicine was completed at University Hospitals of Cleveland. She is Board Certified in Adolescent and Internal Medicine, and focuses on primary care, care of childhood cancer survivors, eating disorders in adults, and health and wellness.

Dr. Rohr-Kirchgraber has received numerous awards during the span of her career. She was featured in both 2012 and 2013 Indianapolis Monthly as Indiana's "Top Doctors" as chosen by their peers. In 2013, she received the American Medical Association (AMA) Innovations in Medicine award, and American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) "Exceptional Mentor" award. This award celebrates those who have gone above and beyond making impact on individual lives, careers, and patients through guidance and mentorship. Most recently she received AMWA's 2014 Commitment to Excellence award. In 2013 she was named President Elect of AMWA 's national board and will serve as President in 2015.

She is on the governing council of the Women's Physicians Congress of the American Medical Association and serves as the resident women's health expert for Sound Medicine, a weekly segment on National Public Radio (NPR). In additional to her role as Executive Director, she is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics and Chief Physician Executive, Eskenazi Health Outpatient Care Center Primary Care and the Eskenazi Center of Excellence for Women's Health.

Teri manages the National Center of Excellence in Women's Health daily operations, works to improve and expand philanthropy, business development, and fiscal management. She is responsible for long-term financial viability; working with the University and IU Foundation to identify potential donors and funding sources; and writing case statements, grants and funding proposals.

Her human resources responsibilities include hiring nurse practitioners, health coaches and other personnel to work in the outreach program. She plans and implements public relations strategies to increase awareness of the center and its programs; and oversees special events that promote leadership, professional education and networking for women in medicine and science.

As the chief communicator, she prepares annual reports, writes quarterly newsletters, maintains a web and media presence,and develops brochures and other materials to promote the center and its programs. Tisha isthe Associate Director for the IU National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health.Tisha is effectively growing the outreach initiative including the Wellness on Wheels andWomen of INfluence (WOI) programs. She chairs the WOI Marion County Coalition and works tirelessly with local and statewide organizations to improve the health of Indiana women.

Formerly the Outreach Manager for the Indiana Clinical Translational Sciences Institute's (CTSI) Community Health Engagement Program (CHEP), she managed the development and growth of collaborative partnerships between the academic and community partners to improve research, health and health care throughout Indiana.

Her prior experience includes work as the Partnership Program Coordinator for the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Information Service (NCI/CIS) Midwest RegionIn that role, she collaborated state-wide with partner organization to deliver cancer control and education programs to help improve the health of the underserved populations.

With over 15 years in community health programming, Tisha brings experience in strategic planning, state-wide community health planning, implementation and evaluation; and has received recognition and awards from the American Heart Association, the Indiana Cancer Consortium, Martin University, National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer, and the National Cancer Institute Cancer Information Service.
